He will succeed Bill Gracey, who is taking over the role of president and CEO upon the Dec. 31 retirement of Vicky Gregg. Hickey joined BCBST in March 2011 as senior vice president as well as president and CEO of the Tennessee Blues Medicaid unit Volunteer State Health Plan. Previously he was a principal with McKinsey & Co. and director of the TennCare Bureau, which oversees Tennessee’s Medicaid program.

She was vice president of brand marketing at Hilton Worldwide....WPS Health Insurance, a not-for-profit health insurance company in Madison, Wis., named Michael Hamerlik president and CEO effective June 11, 2012. Hamerlik will replace Jim Riordan, who will be retiring after more than 20 years in that role.

Demske has been with the counsel's office since September 1990, when he was hired as a staff attorney. He became the administrative and civil remedies branch chief in October 2002, and assistant IG for legal affairs in 2005....DuBois Regional Medical Center in DuBois, Pa., named Janice Hamscher chief nursing officer (CNO).
