Plan Enrollment Statistics: Comparative 5-Year Market Share, Trends and Data.
Chapter 3 of this book/CD features five-year enrollment by product type for
40 different parent companies representing two or more health plan records in
any of the five years specified.
METHODOLOGY:
Calculated from enrollment data for all types of health plans (commercial,
Medicare, Medicaid, etc.), offered by all U.S. health insurers that sell
fully insured products. Data was compiled from health plan surveys conducted
by AIS researchers, supplemented and verified by state and federal government
data where available, during the fourth quarter of each year indicated, and
originally published in AIS’s Directory of Health
Plans, 2004-2008 editions. Copyright © 2008, Atlantic Information
